Where It All Began: Saas-Fee 2022
PWDR DAYS may be gearing up for its next chapter, but this alpine tradition started right here in March 2022.
We started the week as 54 strangers in the Swiss Alps of the Saas Valley and wrapped it up as 55 lifelong friends (Chris joined a bit late after having a little too much positivity for our liking—cough, COVID, cough). Spending 24 hours a day together under one chalet roof proved just how rapidly true bonds can grow.
On the Slopes: Glacier Caves & Full Send Culture
Glacier Ice Caves & Gondola Raves
Carving down high-altitude runs from 3,600 meters was only the beginning. Between exploring ethereal natural blue ice caves and hosting impromptu DJ sessions inside alpine gondolas, the slopes became our playground.

The First Undie Run & Full Send Spirit
We established what would become a staple of our trips: the legendary mountain undie run—flying down the slopes in underwear and costumes. The mantra of the entire week was simple: FULL SEND.

Chalet Life & Unforgettable Moments
Living together for a full week produced instant inside jokes, late-night deep talks, and chaotic memories:
- Endless Werewolf Games: An uncountable number of rounds in the common room (which didn’t stop in Switzerland—we extended the trip by a week online via Discord to keep playing!).
- The “Cucumba” Situation: If you were there, you know.
- Dance Night: A spontaneous mix of classic, contemporary, and high-energy Indian dancing.
- The Soundb: The chalet speaker went through a dramatic rebranding when the “oks” broke off the Soundboks.
- Love in the Alps: We even celebrated our first chalet couples!
<3 - Party Nights: Evenings filled with memories we’ll cherish forever (and a few lessons on what to avoid next time).

In Their Own Words
The magic of Saas-Fee wasn’t just the powder—it was the people:
“The acceptance with each other and simply being who you are, with no or little judgement, and the desire everyone had to know the other person and not just to meet them.”
“I really felt a feeling of freedom. Freedom from judgement and prejudice. Freedom from established social relations. Freedom to be you.”
“The energy given off by everyone in the group of just accepting everyone for who they are was amazing… it’s very rare to see so much of that in such a big group.”
Giving Back: Charity Donation
Team Ukraine Love
Following our first trip, surplus funds from the budget were channeled toward immediate humanitarian relief.
We donated 900 € to Team Ukraine Love, an initiative supported by Yes Theory that provided emergency aid on the ground at the outbreak of the war.
